In the event of a cancellation by the participant, written notification shall be sent to the organizer I-Congress by email to info@i-congress.info.
The following refund policy will apply:
In the event of official intervention or orders, military activities, strikes, pandemics - including the current Corona pandemic - or other circumstances which make it impossible or inadvisable to hold the course at the scheduled time and place (Good Cause), I-Congress and the participant will share such risk as follows:
The participant will be reimbursed 40% of the participant fee, plus a flat rate of 20% of the participant fee for expenses saved by not holding the course on site, e.g. for room rental and catering, for preparation material and for travel and accommodation expenses of the lecturers but not for their remuneration (even if saved in total or partly). The participant is free to prove that the expenses actually saved by not holding the course on site are higher.
I-Congress will inform the participant of any cancellation of the course immediately after becoming aware of the Good Cause. Reimbursement of travel, accommodation and other costs incurred by the participant despite and even before cancellation of the course is excluded. The participant is advised to take out travel cancellation insurance on his/her own initiative; I-Congress does not offer any insurance, and the participant fee does not include the premium for such insurance.
